DRA. ROSANNA CHORRO

Dr. Rosanna Chorro graduated in Medicine from the University of Valencia, where she also completed her specialty training in Family Medicine. She later specialized in prehospital emergency care, working as an emergency physician in both ground and air operations (HEMS). Together with her team, she was a pioneer in introducing the REBOA technique in the prehospital setting in Spain and is certified as a REBOA instructor by the European Body
Accreditation. She is President of the Spanish Association for Simulation in Emergency Medicine and co- founder of Prehospital Critical Care, an organization dedicated to improving prehospital care through education and training. After completing a fellowship in Education and Clinical Simulation at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester (USA), she began an Emergency Medicine residency, becoming the first Spanish woman accepted into an U.S. residency program in this specialty. In addition to her medical career, she was the Spanish Muay Thai champion in 2012 and actively participates in organizations focused on animal rescue and medical assistance.
