Dr. David Carr is a professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine and the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is an emergency physician and clinical investigator at University Health Network and Mackenzie Health Hospital, and he also leads the Continuing Professional Development Lead within the university’s Tri- Division of Emergency Medicine. He has lectured in more than 30 countries and has

received numerous teaching awards. He has been repeatedly recognized as one of Toronto’s top emergency physicians. Since 2010, he has co-authored the chapter on Occlusive Arterial Disease in Tintinalli’s Emergency Medicine. During baseball season, he serves as Medical Director for Stadium Medicine Services with the Toronto Blue Jays.
