Dr. Iain Beardsell graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1998 and has spent over 20 years working in prestigious university hospitals in the UK and abroad. He is a consultant in Emergency Medicine at University Hospital Southampton (UHS), one of the leading trauma centers in southern England and the eighth-largest hospital in the UK. He has worked there for twelve years, including three years as Clinical Director, and he currently serves as Associate Clinical Sub Dean. He also coordinates the Acute Care module for medical students at the University of Southampton Medical School. He has been a medical advisor for TV series such as Casualty and The Good Karma Hospital, and is a regular speaker at conferences in Australia, the United States, Ireland, Austria, Germany, and across the UK.
