Dr. Jailyn Avila is a board-certified emergency physician with a Focused Practice Designation in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound (AEMUS). She has over a decade of experience in academic medicine and has served as an associate professor and Director of the Ultrasound Division at the University of Kentucky. She currently serves as Co- Ultrasound Fellowship Director at the United Health Services Medical Education Consortium in Southern California. She has led educational programs for Butterfly Network and developed curricula for various major medical institutions. She is a recognized leader in point-of-care ultrasound, clinical education, and faculty development.
