Dr. Manrique Umaña McDermott is an assistant physician specialist in Emergency Medicine at Hospital San Juan de Dios in San José, Costa Rica. He is a member of multiple international associations (ACEP, AAEM, IFEM, ASOCOME) and serves on the Steering Committee of the Postgraduate Course in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Manrique is one of our international experts in forward-thinking emergency medicine education.
